Carpenters' Hall, EC2
Atmospheric tradition and charm
|Nearest station:||Liverpool Street, Moorgate (Mainline/Tube)|
Venue DescriptionCarpenters' Hall is a historic venue in London that dates back to 1429 when the first hall was opened. The current hall is the third one to be opened after the first hall was damaged by a fire in 1849 and the second hall was destroyed in an air raid during World War Two.
The third hall is a splendid banqueting hall that was designed by Clifford Wearden. It is located right in the heart of the city, and it is an easy walk from the Underground and mainline stations. With a large entrance hall and reception area for a drinks reception, and seating up to 220 guests, it is the perfect option for a splendid Christmas party.
The building uses at least 18 types of wood as a showcase for the skill of carpentry, as well as stained glass windows, carved crests and more to create a modern and contemporary space that is ideal for festive dining in style. The dark wooden walls and floors, exquisite service, delicious cuisine and atmospheric décor all add up to provide you with a traditional Christmas celebration to remember.
