Venue DescriptionHaberdashers’ Hall is located in a secluded courtyard in the Smithfield area of London, and it is the perfect location for exciting Christmas parties. Designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, the hall was opened in 2002 as the latest reincarnation of a building that has a history dating back to 1461 when the first hall opened.
This hall was destroyed by the Great Fire of London in 1666, and a second hall was build straight afterwards, designed by Edward Jerman designed who had worked with Sir Christopher Wren. It stood for nearly three centuries before being destroyed in an air raid in the Second World War. The third hall opened in 1956, and finally the new hall was opened in 2002 by Her Majesty The Queen.
Unique amongst the homes of the Great 12 Livery Companies, Haberdashers' Hall is the epitome of modern elegance. It hosts many events from small receptions to large dinners, and it is the perfect setting for your bespoke Christmas party this year where beautiful décor and stylish lighting will combine Christmas themes as guests eat, drink and dance into the early hours.
