Venue DescriptionThe Hellenic Centre is a cultural organisation that was founded in 1994 and has a focus on promoting awareness of the Hellenic culture and community in London. The elegant redbrick building it is housed in was originally used as a Swedish gymnastics college when it was built in the early 20th century, and it later served as a hospital during World War I before becoming a cultural centre in 1994. These days, it contains one of London's great event spaces.
The building has many rooms that are available to hire for events, but for grand Christmas parties the Great Hall is the centrepiece. This high-ceilinged room boasts large windows and plenty of natural light. It hosts up to 200 guests, and its neutral décor allows you to use it as a blank canvas to design the perfect bespoke event for your guests.
The building has long been a popular event venue in Central London. Its Marylebone location makes access incredibly easy, and the range of rooms, including a number of smaller and more intimate rooms such as the Boardroom and the Library, mean it is perfect for hosting any kind of Christmas party.
So plan your festive event at the Hellenic Centre this year, and sparkling wines, twinkling lights and beautiful décor will create an elegant winter wonderland in which drinking, dancing and dining will go on into the early hours.
